Tamara Zenner

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Mrs. Zenner is an experienced licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Las Vegas, Nevada. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky in Psychology minoring in Family Studies. Mrs. Zenner then went on to complete her master’s degree from The University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Couples and Family Therapy. She has experience working in both private practice and agency settings with individuals, couples, and families.
Mrs. Zenner has earned multiple certifications to better assist her clients in a therapeutic setting. She has earned ASSIST and safeTALK program certifications from the LivingWorks curriculums. Mrs. Zenner also holds certifications in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), youth mental health first aid, Nevada’s Gatekeeper training, and has participated in multiple trainings pertaining to mindfulness and positive psychology. She is also a member of the Nevada Coalition for Suicide Prevention and the Nevada Counseling Association.
Mrs. Zenner’s goal as a therapist is to help her clients (re)connect with their inner strengths and motivations to achieve their goals of a happier, healthier life through empowerment. She specializes in treating clients managing depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, relational communication barriers, parenting, stress management, and healthy coping/mindful living; however, she has experience working with clients struggling with a wide range of other presenting concerns. Mrs. Zenner looks forward to hearing from you and helping you begin your healing journey!
